flokpit exists because running many AI agents felt like herding birds without a plan.
The name
Agents are getting good at single tasks. Getting many of them to work together is the hard part. They overlap, block each other and wait for a human who doesn’t know what they’re doing.
Nature solved this long ago. Birds, fish and bees coordinate thousands of individuals with a few simple rules. flokpit brings those rules to AI agents, and puts a human in the cockpit.
What we believe
Agents do the work. People set the heading and make the calls that matter.
The code is open source and runs on your infrastructure. No lock-in.
Simple, local rules beat one big controller. Flocks prove it every day.
Who’s flying
Every V needs one goose who honks first. Ours is Dennis.
The idea is his. One day he asked: “What if AI agents flew in formation, and a human just steered?” flokpit is the answer, and he hasn’t landed since.
